Fed Chief Bernanke Tells Congress the Housing Market Looks to Be Headed for Safe Landing
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told Congress Thursday that the once high-flying housing market appears to be staging a safe landing.
The downturn in the housing market
so far
appears to be orderly," he said during a hearing before the House Financial Services Committee.

As the man cried half way down from his fall off the Eifel Tower "Everything is okay, so far!" And appearances can be deceptive.

At least Ben admits that the HPI disaster is now over in the US which is more than Gordon dare do.
