Rent A Slave

Recommended Posts

For all his claims of equality and fairness, Gordon seems to be bent on creating a two class public service. Some (e.g. local council employees and GPs) are over grossly over paid whilst others are exploited. For this latter group, things are about to get a lot worse under the new rent a slave initiative

If you are poor and want to buy a house, stop getting above yourself. Gordon doesn't like it.

In the old days before the Unions came along this was known as "piece work." A carryover from Dickens. Just shows you were the minds of Gordon and his fellow Socialistes du Champagne are!

Surely they are just suggesting self employment workers to companies or individuals that require it.

Or flexi time.

Seems like another one of those schemes dreamed up to keep somebody in an overpaid good for nowt job.

Probably get rejected like combined police forces, HIP etc.

To me it looks like they are trying to skim £400 m off the poorest in society. Presumably they are trying to recover the vastly over generous terms they 'accidently' agreed with the GPs and other tax abusers in local government. And don't forget that GPs also work flexi time.

OK just re read from different context, they basically want people caring for disabled relatives to work any free hours on flexi time to reduce the amount of benefit they receive.

Should be no shortage of takers there.

I guess they should really be targetting those who do nothing, that should save money, like force them to get out of bed & report to job centre daily.

Once again appealing to 'the decent' among us to bail out the rest.

Off topic though.
