Yorks house prices fall

AVERAGE house prices in Yorkshire and Humberside fell by 1.6 per cent over the four weeks to July 8, new figures suggested today.

Is the HPC being led by the North this time around?

No, HPI is being led again by the south, as stated in the rest of the article!

House prices in Leicestershire are lagging behind other parts of the country, new industry figures claim.
The cost of an average home in the East Midlands dropped by £1,000 in a month, despite surges elsewhere, according to a new report.
An average house in the region was £167,574 at the start of July, down 0.7 per cent from £168,822 in June.
