Homes Under Hammer Best Yet?

Recommended Posts

Really funny Homes Under The hammer . A 77 year old ex-boxer buys a 3m x 11m shed for £36k to turn it into a boxing club. Sad that it is too small for a boxing ring. "Don't need a ring. That's for the big boys." Oh yeah, shadow boxing, speed ball and bag punching ... and no sparring??????? Couldn't you do all that in your own home?

But he gets his first customer none the less. What do I know? :blink:

Then he says, "Yuv gotta get the equipment. That's the most expensive part. Boxing gloves, punch bags." If doin' this place up costs 2k you're lookin' at another grand on top." :blink::blink:

Then a coupl eof estate agents com earound after zero work has been done (apart from a new roof) and value it at 45-50k :blink::blink::blink:

Then again, in a world where hostage release negotiation = firing 150mm self propelled guns ....

... anything is logical

:blink::blink::blink::blink:

This programme must be at least six series old by now.

Has it mentioned capital gains tax even once?

(P.S. I bet you wouldn't have been so bold about the old guy face-to-face. 76, and he looked like he still packed a punch!)

this is one of my guilty pleasures i am afraid.. if only cos, unlike the property porn progs, they include terraces of 50 K in absolute shiteholes. anyway watched it the other day and they had 2 complete muppets presenting it, i mean different ones from the usual 2. They made martin and the bint seem like, well, someone who knew what they were talking about.
