There are lots of For Sale boards about and the only thing that seems to be selling are house asking below the stamp duty threshold. Semis and terraces. Some houses have been for sale of over a year and still haven't dropped their price. The pompous owner of a little 3 bed bungalow down the road from me has just put it up for sale asking £200K when a bigger one down the road has not sold for a year at 170K. Dreaming or what? Wonder when people will start reducing it only takes a few for the whole house of cards to fall.

I've been watching some in the villages north of Lincoln & starting to see a few dropping their prices now;

Was £144,950 now £138,950

Was £149,950 now £135k

And then there's this horror, which for all intents & purposes appears to be someone's garage;

Does it have an inspection pit?

I think that last one started off at over £100k early last year, surprisingly no ones bought it.....
