Old news on this site, interest rate markets have already priced in a 25bp rise in the UK.

In the long run, higher productivity, or output per worker, leads to higher living standards, and economists are concerned that the UK has been lagging behind European rivals in recent years.

Oh, so you mean the country can't get wealthier by people just selling each other houses at ever increasing prices?
