Should I Hate Kirsty So Much

Recommended Posts

I am ashamed to admit that i have a complete irrational loathing for someone, it is something i am not proud of, that person is Kirsty Allsopp  , infact it is closer to hatred.

Yesterday i saw that vile fat stuck up vain snob of a woman plasterd all over the Telegraph, but there was one picture that really set me off. Kirsty posing for the Camera in her new idylic Devon village in her little summery dress looking all wistfull and mumsy, i could have puked.

She was whinning about a F3 course that is being built close to her, the poor thing, she wants to be gratefull that she can live in the place at all, but then Daddy did give her a good start, plus she has let some low life BTL git throw one up her and giver her a sprog, and the money from the property ramping shows that she does has probably done her very nicely.

I was watching the Panarama debt documentry last night and was thinking to myself that the lenders were behaving like pushers of drugs, i see her even lower than that.

I am afraid that she just personifys everything i hate about our property market, is my dislike of this woman a little unfair :)

No more unfair than the fact that, thanks to the likes of her, ordinary people on ordinary wages can't afford to buy ordinary houses.

Not at all. Your feelings may well be justified. She is a smug, patronising, half-witted eegit who really has no idea what effect her 'beliefs' are having on the priced-out generation. The fact she has a platform for them is very worrying.

Some of you lot ought to go to her office in London and put her straight. It would be a good place for a well-mannered and peaceful protest. With a bit of media alerting you would get coverage everywhere and, hopefully, get a chance to make your case.

You see Channel 4 goes for a young audience. If they thought the demographic they are after was switching off in droves because of their ramping of the property market, those programs would be dropped.

You could have a bit of fun with it - if you alerted the other commercial channels - I am sure they would love the opportunity to say 'Channel 4's Kirsty and Phil's offices beseiged by angry youngsters priced out of the property market.'

No, cancel that.

The correct course of action is Passive Resistance - simply refusing to buy will soon bring Kirsty to heel and the market crashing.

Let it go Sam. People like her always get what they deserve in life. Once she gets known the locals down here will make her life misery.

I think the problem doesnt lie with Kirsty, I think the whole TV/Property entertainment buisness and those that reside in it are completly oblivious to the reality of the vast majority of the population, yep from where they sit, the average buyer/seller wants to sell up their £700k London terrace and swap it for a nice country pile and a cheap (£200k) flop in the city, after all, all their friends live like this, therefore by deduction everyone else does. What a twee life we all live. The other thing that irritates me is all the afore said folks also want a space for their office to work from home, that is when they are not out at meetings and lunches, who are these people, what percentage of the population are they? I worked for a telco who sold work from home solutions but wouldnt let their empoyees work from home cause they couldnt be trusted, no matter if they haddnt had a day of sick in 7 years.

No these programs are not dealing with real people, they are in fairy land.

They would have you believe everyone lives like this, to make you feel inferior, so you will borrow all you can to achieve your aspirations.

How I deal with it, take everyone as having zero credibility, they're wrong, I'm right. I live in a shack with no planning permission and try to live my life as the antithesis of this ******** culture, I ******ing love it!

I dislike her quite a lot. Not sure if I hate her. She is probably the most annoying person on TV.

I hate Christiano Ronaldo. That hate is pure and passionate!

why hate ronaldo???

He is ten times more talented than that fat git rooney..all he does is sweat and get sent off...oh he might get lucky once in 10 games and managed to find the net.

England will be a better team once they get rid of these freeloaders like beckham and rooney//

(PS Lennon and crouch were miles better when they came on and dont even start me about getting paid £30million and not even able to score a penalty!!)

Ronaldo is a cocky arrogant little slimy sh**. Rooney has a temper, but is a much better football player. Beckham has lost his edge.

They are all paid too much really, but not for me to decide. Yes Crouch should've been on from the start with Rooney in a 4-4-2

Ah Krusty Arsedrop, bloated housing bubble whore that she is, I agree with other posters that the whole tv property porn fetish thing is really to blame. Reluctantly, I caught a glimpse of 'Homes under the Hammer' today & noticed that it was on at least its 3rd repeat!!. Don't get me started on the banal 'to buy or not to buy' also repeated endlessly on daytime tv.

Its such a waste of human potential that so many brain dead sheeple watch this tripe. Whats so interesting about watching someone being shown around 3 or 4 over priced houses with a muppets commentary ? The mind bubbles.

The Press are equally guilty. The editors of the Sunday Times for example seem to print their rag exclusively for people who can afford Prada handbags, Tuscan Villas and flash sports cars. Either that or they are selling impossible dreams to people......like buying property at 10 times your salary for example. Reading the property supplement of the ST, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the paper is printed exclusively for the Micheal w*anker Winners of the world. It make me wanna puke

pscyhologically it is all a very clever con to make people feel inferior, that they are the odd one out as everyone else is borrowing shit loads of money and living the high life so why shouldnt i?

Every now and then i do feel myself slipping into this con but luckily i manage to snap myself out of it and get back to reality. Did anyone hear Richard Branson paraising Gordon Brown yesterday regarding his policy about bankrupcy and the stigma that was attached to it?

Branson said that it was a good thing to try even if you go bankrupt. That is of course unless you sell some equipment to these clever people who then go bankrupt and put you out of business after failing to pay up.

I sometimes sit here and think, "is it me?"

It is completely nauseating.

I posted some very abrupt comments on their about her and the guy who set up the site e.mailed me and 'told me off'.

It was really funny/ Suggest you take a look. A few of the guys on here posted comments on it too.

The stupd guy who set it up basically said it was not her fault house prices were so high and that she had not

'vested interest' in the property market. He and I nearly came to blows, verbally of course.

Mattsta, I agree with you. Open up any property, lifestyle, or fashion supplement on a Sunday and what do you get? Property that is usually priced at half a million for starters, lifestyle, ie: organic Tuscan Olive oil at twenty quid a bottle, or an ordinay looking shirt for 100 quid. My wife just starts to laugh at the fashion accesories such as handbags at £250 or a scarf at £150.

Is it designed to make us all feel inferior? Or is it that I am the only poor reader reader that does not have an income to pay these absurd prices? Just what are these supplements trying to achieve? I really would like to know.
