Savills sees housing slowdown in H2

LONDON (ShareCast) - Property advisor Savills (LSE: SVS.L - news) says the
UK housing market could weaken
in the second half of the year after a strong first half.
"While our order book remains stronger than last year, we have some
caution that the residential markets may not be as buoyant
in the second half, said Savills in a company statement.

These statements are mirroring David Lereah's (chief spokesman for the NAR) in the US. They start off strong and gradually turn more pessimistic as the reality of a HPC dawns. The US are about 3-6 months ahead of us just like the Great Crash of 1989-96.
