Luxury Homebuilder Berkeley Sees Orders Slip

Recommended Posts

Results round-up
LONDON (ShareCast) - Housebuilder Berkeley reported a steady rise in profit last year and despite forward orders slipping says the housing market overall remains satisfactory.
Pre-tax profit for the year to April rose by 6.2% to £165.1m as volumes (Advertisement)
picked up to offset a drop in selling prices from £309,000 to £293,000. Revenues rose by 15.5% to £918m.
Forward orders fell
to £581.9m from £687m.

Reasonably palatable news for a unpleasantly hot tropical Sunday afternoon as we prepare for another upbeat week ahead for the HPC?
