urban_hymn
Hi Can anyone tell me please whether any spreadbetting firms allow you to trade these gold indices. The two firms I use: Etrade and Finspreads don't offer them. I don't want to trade a proxy like NEM. Ta.

Frizzers
There is a new gold miners' ETF, GDX, which is a good collection of 40 or more miners. There are options on it, so I would have thought you can buy spreads too. GDX will more or less mirror HUI.
urban_hymn
Ta Frizzers. A gold miners ETF? That would be nice. Being Brits we don't get access to the excellent range of ETFs they have in the states. I'm just starting to spread bet profitably now but I'm not ready to get to grips with something new like options just yet. The spread betting takes an enormous amount of time planning/reading /researching as it is. Can I spread bet GDX anyone?
Time to raise petrol prices
Finspreads? Aaaagh, they really are sperm of the devil, those guys. The number of rejected trades and requotes is insane, to say nothing of the very suspicious downtime on the system around significant announcements (interest rates, etc). Opened an account with Capital Spreads and never looked back!
