Guest grumpy-old-man
watching "HomeUnder the Hammer" this morning, pub landlord buys a house at auction, one he had not intended to buy......you want to know his advice on why he bought (a good tip apparantly): he saw 2 women bidding for it his logic was that women are normally more financially astute & if it's good enough for them......... he bought without seeing it to add to his portfolio I am seeing this all the time on these types of programs, is this a measure of the standard of the new BLT "managers" ? Killer Bunny
is this a measure of the standard of the new BLT "managers" ? Well, I do think its a tad unfortunate for you to attack managers of Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sarnies. There are other sandwich managers more open to attack, in my view. For instance, managers of ham salads.
Sledgehead
watching "HomeUnder the Hammer" this morning, pub landlord buys a house at auction, one he had not intended to buy......you want to know his advice on why he bought (a good tip apparantly): he saw 2 women bidding for it his logic was that women are normally more financially astute & if it's good enough for them......... he bought without seeing it to add to his portfolio I am seeing this all the time on these types of programs, is this a measure of the standard of the new BLT "managers" ? One I Hded featured a member of the "financially astute" gender. Here are the figures for the development: DEVELOPMENT COSTS : £100,000 ESTATE AGENTS FINAL ESTIMATE : £98,000 Let's just forget how much she paid for th eplace to begin with shall we! Presenter: "So what's next for you." Developer: "I plan to start a new dev in ....." .... can anyone really say they have proof of a gender-specific advantage when it comes to financial awareness?
