Hardly Been More Than 100 Posts On This Site In 24 Hours

Recommended Posts

looking down the lists of posts, there has been only around 30 topics listed and 100 odd posts in the last 24 hours on here.

a few weeks ago this would have been about 5 times this amount

do you all think the advertising barrage we are being subjected to is putting people off?

where has everyone gone too?

Splitting the anecdotals into a seperate section was a mistake too.

The Google Ads have had some effect though.

I don't mind te ads along the top and sides, but the ones on the threads are irritating. I can live with them. For the record, I'm staying.

I really cannot understand the totally out of proportionate hissy fit over the ads. I'm more concerned that as any 'crash idea' fades so does the readership. All the arguments/discussions have been had, very rarely do I see a thread these days and feel compelled to put my two pennenth in...it's all been said before

I quite agree. Everything has been said about a million times and we're all just sitting back and waiting for the crash to start. We could do with some big news stories to start discussing new topics, like a couple of interest rate rises in the UK or a change of Prime Minister.

In which case this site has no function - the people who bought it have wasted their money.

I don't think you guys understand - for many people the idea of selling a forum like this is repugnant. You're just like everyone else in the property business - trying to make money out of people.

I'll tell you something that was said a million times - people don't like the ever-increasing commercialism of this site and the all pervasive adverts. It was said over and over again - and you only responded when people started to leave en-masse.

The words 'door', 'horse', 'stable' and 'bolted' leap to mind.
