Estate Agent In £1000 Fine For Room Size Error

Recommended Posts

A LEADING estate agent was fined £1000 for saying a living room was one metre bigger than it actually was.

Clyde Property says it made an honest mistake after plans for a newly built block of flats in Glasgow were changed slightly.

An EA making an honest mistake?

It'll be the first honest thing they've done then.

only fined £1k? outrageous.

manufacturers advertising goods with better features than they really have in such a quantifiable, easily challenged way would be taken to the cleaners.

1 metre, that's approx 3 feet is it not ? must have come as a shock when they tried to fit their suite in . they might have to resort to garden furniture or shop at ikea !:blink:
