Central Heating Gone!

Recommended Posts

Someone down the road has just moved out into a new house, when they get to the new house - the central heating and water system has been removed. The people who sold the house claim someone burgled it! So either this is a new type of crime, or they are lying to cover their own greed.

So they are back in the street, as their new house is uninhabitable! Can you believe that someone would take the Central Heating??? Unbelievable!

Hmm. A decent condensing boiler is what, £800? Plus with copper going through the roof on the commodoties markets (recent falls notwithstanding) there's a pile of cash to be made nipping in a ripping out the boiler & pipework from a known empty house. Probably only take an hour or so.

Only worth it if you've got a buyer lined up of course (on edit: and are of a criminal-bent).

The smackheads used to rip them out of empty flats across Manchester years ago. And didn't always wait for people to be out.

People who buy second hand systems must have known where they were coming from.
