Premium bond payout cut to 2.95% from 3%.

Saving the thieving b*stard £1.2 million per month.


They put it up .05% a few months a go when they launched the 2nd million prize.

Not really sure why they are dropping it now when there are interest rate rises coming they can sneak changes into!

Perhaps if they offered direct deposit of winnings electronically there costs would be less <_<

Then again, by the time the cheque is posted, deposited and passed through the banking system they have kept hold of the money + compounded interest for about a month extra anyway. Surely that covers the cost?
