Property As A Pension

Recommended Posts

Yesterday, on the car radio, I overheard the tail end of a news item about a recent warning by a left-wing think tank, not to rely on property to provide a pension.

Did anyone else hear this, or see anything written about it?

It wasn't early in the part of the world I'm in.

Are you getting tired of tripping yourself up and making yourself look foolish?

It is when I'm working in Bahrain!

Keep posting. Every time you try to win a point you trip yourself up, don't you?

I'm enjoying this, but it really is a bit too easy. You haven't posted yet without seriously embarassing yourself. You just don't think the possibilities through.

Guest Winners and Losers

My new flatmate  owns a place in Sale. He can't afford to live in it. Bought it 5 years ago. Apparently mortgage plus up keep would take half his pay!! He rents it out. But, he assures me, its OK because its his pension and of course property prices only go up (4% in April alone in Sale apparently).

My plan is to slowly torture him with doom and gloom. Drip, drip, drip.
