Ex-wives Win Key Divorce Rulings

Recommended Posts

Forget HPI how about 5 million squids for 2 years 9 months marriage

A judge decided Mrs Miller was entitled to a substantial settlement because she married with "reasonable expectation" of a future wealthy lifestyle.

So what's new? As we've discussed before, a man has to be crazy to get married in Britain these days.

Better not tell WAL :P

Excuse me! I think you will find that it is little sweet and innocent Shakerbaby who is the gold digger in this case. He's skinted, I'm minted. Girls, if your gonna get a gold digger, make sure he's a toy boy too. ;)

He said the ruling was at odds with divorce law in the rest of the world, but the Law Lords' ruling showed that the world was now out of step.

Have they been talking to Gordon Brown?

I await Dr Bubbs contribution to this with interest.

Only if the man has money. Plenty of "gold diggers" out there of the male persuasion, content to let their distaff half be the main breadwinner.

And anyway as a woman you would be entitled to 1/3 of your partners future earnings.

Yeah, of course: because there are just _so_ many rich women desperate to marry poor men.

I wanna marry the bitch and take her the cleaners?

Ohh... I cant do that can I?????

TB

Not sexist in any form but women want equality and we still go back to old ways of thinking. I think its wrong that a when a man and woman sh@g, the mans a hero and the womans a slag! If I was a woman, I wouldnt mind being a RICH SLAG!!!!

Do you reckon if I marry her, set Shaker (sorry WAL, apparently he's irresistable) up with her so she commits adultery with him. I could claim £166k a year off her. That's £100k for me, £60k for Shaker & £6k for WAL (for losing Shaker for a night) all paid for by the poor mug that married her in the first place. :)

Sounds like a plan to me! Only problem is that Shaker is worth far more than £6k a night, and I should know ffs.

I hope it's blondie that I have to marry, I might as well make the most of it. ;)

Shaker, I'm just repeating what I've heard. Everyone here knows you're HPC's heart-throb.

That & I saw you while I was out stalking WAL.

I think this is a bloody disgrace!

I'll second that! How dare she get to walk away with £500m after such a short lived marriage. What a gold digger. I hope Paul didn't get any strange piercings or anything on her insistence. ;)

Unlikely, but wouldn't be surprised if she gets 100-200M - unjustified in my opinion.

5m tops - but we know it'll be more!

These types of divorces have little or no correlation to 'real life' divorces. Big bucks = big legal team, and I should know ffs, I'm a divorce lawyer.

If the fluff leaves the cashcow, then she should leave the cash, cow.

If the gash leaves the breadwinner then she should leave the bread, loser!

I'd have had them bumped off for 1k each.

i agree. i think they both could have met with nasty accidents for under 2k.

or perhaps planted some light lesbian porn in a work desk.

(unless they work for gender couriers - lesbian express).

How many wives did you say you'd had??

Btw, how does it work for real people in the real world? Is it really 50/50 - anyone know?

THE END OF MARRIAGE?

Maybe not. But men are going to be looking for more than looks:

Like an equal financial status.

This "Hunting License" that has been awarded to Gold Diggers by the courts is bound to change behaviour. Maybe Paul McCartney's case will drive this point home.

DrBubb - you would think that this would make men sit up and pay attention. But, my learned friend, you should never under-estimate the P.o.P. It's turns the best of men into idiots!!

Love the term "Hunting License".
