A great letter re: the CoE and poverty, one guy makes the point that high house prices are screwign the poor over - yes!!!!

Plus the Torygraph has a great piece on debt, and a very clever leader on various issues around the stock market:

Investors were right to be worried because the monster called inflation is showing signs of awakening. In Britain, the official index may say prices on the high street are hardly moving, but it misses out or under-records council tax, house prices and a host of services.

Article started well but got complacent by the end. Apparently profit growth is safe.

And: "Bubbles might have blown up in the prices of some obscure metals"

We can't function in the modern world without these obscure metals and guess who is first in the queue.
