New Adverts

Recommended Posts

Bit over the top aren't they? Why not bung one in after each post too?

They are a complete pain - Almost an entire screen is taken up with ads now. Almost as annoying as having to create an account on ourproperty.co.uk to see the prices. I'd much rather avoid the spam potential and use www.houseprices.co.uk - Far more user friendly.

;o)

Adverts are an important revenue gathering technique, so help keeping this website free.

And there not too intrusive.

But.. ahem...

ahem....

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

provides instruction on how to block orrible adverts like adult ones and... if you do some

deeper reading you will have the choice to "modify" the file they give you.

ahem....

Works a treat... you computer is not overloaded with junk and your page downloading speed increases.

Plus... you can always delete entries from this file if you want to access certain websites.

http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm

explains it all..

Your nortons and mcafee already do this but most people dont turn this functionality on...

Also.. you have to pay to use these services..

above website shows you how easy and free it is to do yourself.

CAS.
