Prices in expat spots slip

FRENCH property search company VEF has issued figures looking at prices over the first three months of 2006.
Their figures show that two popular areas for British expats, Aquitaine and Brittany, have seen falls in average property prices.
Average sale prices in Aquitaine have fallen from €317,807 in the first quarter of 2005 to €255,951 for the same time period in 2006.
:o
Brittany has also seen average prices fall from just over €192,000 to €175,139, when comparing this year and last.
And Auvergne has seen average prices for the first quarter of 2006 actually fall beneath the €100,000 barrier, to currently stand at €92,103.

HPC anyone? :o
