Jowell To Cash In Before Crash....

Recommended Posts

Here's the EA's link to her house in Raveley Street, Kentish Town. It'll be interesting to see how the sale progresses.

Won't ask how you know but how interesting that you do.

This is quite near to where I am - they are lovely houses up there. May it hang around on the market for months, and other assorted curses.

Surely with the new banking regulations the sale should be halted, as it contravines the new money laundering regulations.

It should be confiscated, it is a joint asset and they are obviously trying to liquidate the equity into hard cash in order they can flee the country and escape prosecution.

Hi Rent Girl,

Won't ask how you know but how interesting that you do.

Well, the BBC News story above mentions Day Morris as the estate agent and that's in Kentish Town. Day Morris's site for KT only has one property at 950,000 which they say is in Raveley Street.

houseprices.co.uk only have one freehold terrace selling in that street:

2005-09-23 Terrace Freehold 695,000 11 Raveley Street

which matches up with the BBC saying "According to Land Registry figures another house on the street sold in September last year for 695,000".

Then, looking on 192.com for David Mills we find a David M. Mills at number 16 in Directory Enquiries. There's a David Mackenzie Donald Mills registered as a company director living in the street, but 192.com won't say where unless you pay them. Finally, a David Mills is in a previous Electoral Roll for Raveley St., again number only given upon payment, with other occupants being Anna and Jessie Mills, and Tessa Jowell.

Comparing the BBC photo with the five estate agents ones shows a matching hedge and tree at the downstairs bay window, especially if you use the mirror over the fireplace to see more of the tree.

This is quite near to where I am - they are lovely houses up there.

You may wish to wander by and see if #16's frontage matches the BBC News photo.
