Can't Afford That Btl Property In The Uk?

Recommended Posts

I did a lot of research beforehand to ensure that the development was of high quality. We will use the property a couple of times a year for holidays and let it the rest of the year. We have been told we can expect an annual rental yield of 7% on the purchase price.'

Judi and David were able to buy using the proceeds from a UK property sale, but for most people, the easiest way to raise finance is to remortgage their main home.

Yields 7% - Yawn -yes of course it does.

The same thing was said to all the Brits who bought in Spain.

No wonder all the Bulgarians are coming over here: the stupid BTL bastards are pricing them out of houses at home.

makes me wonder why they condition brits to buy in other countries on tv programs? it isnt exactly societally responsible imo: "omfg look at all their little houses arent they cute, and look at the prices! Lets liek buy four of these from our MEW".

The Bulgarian language is particularly difficult to learn, being based on a Cyrillic alphabet. Can't see many Brits managing it!

It raises the wider issue of whether humans should be allowed to own more than one house, which they must live in.

Hotels are good, and actually very cheap, the rest of the time, I reckon.

Just imagine the faces of these buyers when the airlines get nailed for pollution taxes... next year..? Plane prices soar: house prices crash.
