German business confidence slips

Concerns about the strength of the euro and high oil prices have sent German investor confidence to a six-month low in May, according to think-tank ZEW.
The organisation said its monthly index fell from 62.7 points in April to 50 points in its May survey of 314 analysts and institutional investors.
It had been expected to fall by a more modest level -
but instead hit the lowest figure since November 2005
.

Der vill be consequences..... :o The question is will the soaring pound affect UK exports given that the US is our second largest trading partner next to the EU?
