Anecdotal - Companies Going Into Administration

Recommended Posts

Since January 2006 , I've seen 3 companies go into administration that offer services to the company where I work. These are not small companies either and have quite large turnovers.

Building Project Company - Gone into administration

Air Conditioning Company - Gone into administration

Electrical Services Company - Gone into administration

Is it just me or is this sort of thing happening elsewhere over the country. All 3 companies were well established and had been trading for years. They are companies that not only supply equipment but also install and maintain them. In spoke to one of the companies employees and they claim that the reason that the company went under was that they were struggling get their money in time from the bigger companies that they had done the jobs for.

Its really hit me this week that things now are looking really bad, not just for housing but for the economy as a whole.
