Not A New Client

Recommended Posts

A prospective client contacted me and we arranged for him to come and see me today. he said he need help to attain financial independence, which is what I do.

Turns out he's on £2,600 pm net saves £500 pm, has £10k net financial assets and his objectives was

wait for it

wait

TO REACH A MILLION WITHIN 5 YEARS - you guessed it primarily through property developing.:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

The meeting did not last long... It really was the most breathtaking stupitdity I have seen professionally in... ever!

Though I'd share that one with you.

Tell him to sign up with IG Index and start short-selling UK house prices. £10K to £1M in the next five years is emminently possible if he's leveraged enough!!

But isn't it easy? I thought you just borrow a million pounds and buy a few houses and you're a millionaire?

Just borrow the money and spend it on useless tat. Heck we all could be millionaires if we wanted which is the miracle of this economy.

What if you don't actually buy the houses, but get the mortgage agreed in principle. Isn't that enough to make you a millionaire?

I'm sure Gordon Brown would want you to think so, but actually I think the money/houses would belong to the bank!

I dont see what is funny!!.

If he were to invest 700 in crack cocaine he could double his money overnight, and when he has made his million he could get a job in the local council advising youngsters of the perils of drugs and earn 150k for that as well.
