Homes Under The Hammer

Recommended Posts

Homes under the Hammer, just finished on BBC1. Tiny cottage on Sheppey bought for £80K at auction (without even being viewed first). £5K spent doing it up, sold on for £97K.

As the presenters say, 'Remember, more and more people are buying at auction these days ... this can be a good way to become a property developer, yadda yadda'

As long as programmes like these keep pushing the idea that there's easy money to be made from property, this crash is years off yet folks.

The difference from last time was that there weren't programmes such as this to help keep the bubble inflated indefinitely.

I don't agree, I think EVERYONE is getting sick of property programmes. The end is nigh for them. Just one look at Colin and Justin wiping themselves out in a Glasgow gay bar was proof enough for me.
