Rental Prices In Leicester

Recommended Posts

I got the local Leicester paper today. Looking through the rental property section, rental property seems much cheaper than just a little while ago. It used to be that when I looked through the property section there were very few houses as cheap as the one that I'm renting, which is £475pcm for a 3 bed semi. Which made me worried that if I had to move, I'd end up paying more than I am now.

However, today in the paper there aren't just other properties for the same price, there are lots of them. And lots of cheaper ones too. 3 bed semis or terraced houses for as cheap as £400pcm. Nicer larger houses in nicer areas for £525pcm.

Studio flats in new conversions with communal swimming pools. £75pw. That's £325pcm. Where were places like that when I was single and lived in studios? The pool looks pretty big in the photo too!

The prices could be due to this being the time when the students leave Leicester, but it all looks pretty promising.
