Newspaper Headlines - On A Local Election Morning?

Recommended Posts

Daily Express

HOUSE GO UP 2% IN A MONTH!

This is on the morning of a local election. Not a mention of it!

This is what we are up against. I cant wait for these tw@t to lose shedloads of money. GREED is the trigger and I think, like labour, that have SPUN 1 too many times.

All over you as they say,

Rumours or rivals yell at the strike force.

Hi guys, by the way, are you aware you're being illegal.

It's making your saviour behaviour look evil.

exscuse my timing but say,

How d'you fit in with this flim, flam and judy.

Maximum big suprise your smile is something new.

I pull my shirt off and pray,

We're sacred and bound to suffer the heatwave.

Pull my shirt off and pray,

We're coming up on re-election day.

This headline is so appropriate for Today, and rather than get angry about it i would suggest you we all admire the honesty of it, let me explain.

I remember the hard times that Labour had in the 80's(i was a socilaist back then), after every General Election that they lost they allways kept their die hard left wingers, they remained loyal through out.

Today the Socialist side of the Labour party has long gone, last night many wanted to give the Labour Party a bloody nose, probably decent people that care more about people and community than money, probably the same type of person that would have stayed loyal to Labour in the 80's.

Today, the only type of person that shows any kind of loyalty to Labour are the money grabbing property obsessed scum that Labour has fed since their arrival in 1997.

Todays Express headline is so Nu Labour, it's what they are all about

I thought the Express was talking about overpriced housing & potential crashes about two years ago. Of course, I may be totally wrong.

The Express had a front page a while ago before the general election saying they were now a Tory supporting paper. I think they also changed ownership which would explain why they've gone from housing bears to housing super bulls.

Looks like they've changed their minds a few times in the last couple of years.
