You are quoting an article from AZ. Their house market is in BIG trouble along with CO, CA, MA, NV and VA. All had UK-style HPI and are now paying the dreadful price. Al Greenspan said these markets would suffer pain and he was 100% right. UK next. :)

Yep, I'm in Nevada, and t's gunna hurt. However, I hear you can still buy a home in Gabbs Nevada (AKA BFE) for $18K.
