The Housing Bubble Has Popped

Recommended Posts

Not long before the national news media call the crash? Who will it be-CNN, FOX or one of the old mainline networks ABC, CBS, NBC? My bet is on the good old Wall Street Journal--they have been writing realistic articles since the top in 2004.

There is so much bearish news in the States, conversely it makes me realise just how manicured and sanitised our main news is..scarey really. I don`t think any main network, or newsgroup will call the crash, there is so much admission that it`s already run out of steam..there is nowhere left for the market to go.. <_<

Very interesting. I particularly like the following quote from the article;

"As I have said often, the housing bubble has been more a lending bubble. It will be the impairment of the financial institutions that will stop the flow of credit to the real-estate market. In turn, that will accelerate the collapse in house prices somewhere along the way."

Happy Bank Holiday weekend! :)
