Most Anticipated 2006 Movies

Just to lighten the topics thought it would be interesting to know what everyones most anticipated movies for the remainder of 2006 are.

Here are mine:

Superman Returns

Poseidon

X-Men 3

The Da Vinci Code

Mission Impossible: III

You need to broaden your horizons a bit more and ditch the Hollywood crap.

Save yourself £4 a time a watch the following 5 films as an alternative.

Irréversible

Casshern

Ran

Das Experiment

I don't really like Foreign films much, though I do like Chinese films. I like ficticious escapism films.

If foreign stuff ain't your thing then thats fair enough.

The reason I can't generally stand that Hollywood tripe is simply because you know what's going to happen after about 4 minutes.

Some Japanese films I have seen I still haven't a clue what they were all about :) but seems as if thats the way it's meant to be.

Actually I've seen a New Zealand film made by Lee Tamahori(spelling)? who directed Die Another Day(don't let that put you off) called 'Once Were Warriors' - an excellent underrated film!!!

Crouching Tiger was Chinese, not Japanese ;) Excellent film though.

Saw House Of Flying Daggers a few weeks back, a beautifully made film.
