Report: Iran, Russia Reach Enrichment Deal By ALI AKBAR DAREINI, Associated Press Writer

1 hour, 1 minute ago

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran's envoy to the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency said Saturday the Islamic republic had reached a "basic deal" with the Kremlin to form a joint uranium enrichment venture on Russian territory, state-run television reported.
Ali Asghar Soltanieh, envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency, "spoke of a basic agreement between Iran and Russia to set up a joint uranium enrichment firm on Russian soil," Iranian state television reported.
Iran has vowed it would never give up its right under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty to enrich uranium and produce nuclear fuel.

Makes it harder for the West to bomb Iranian facilities if they are on Russian soil--or does it?

Ezekiel 38 & 39

European-Russian-Islamic Invasion of Israel By Walid

Why is Russia and Islam the only candidate?

Arno C. Gaebelein in 1890 wrote regarding Ezekiel 38: "This is Russia, Moscow, and Tobolsk."
Josephus. In Book I,
Chapter VI of his work, this historian who lived almost two thousand years ago stated that the Scythians were called Magogites by the Greeks. Why is that important? The Scythians populated Russia. Rosh: Professor G. Rawlinson also identifies them with modern Russia. Secular history also trace the Scythians, who lived in the northern regions above the Caucasus Mountains, as forerunners of modern Russia. The Bible confirms this conclusion by giving the location three times calling it "the uttermost north" (38:6, 15; 39;2; KJV).
The Hebrew lexicon of Brown, Driver, and Briggs indicates that Rosh here is the proper name of a people, and a country "Russia" "Russians". Arabic writers confirm that the great wall of China is called the wall of Magog (Hait Al-Ma'ajooj), to protect China from the invading Russians. Dr. Louis Bauman wrote in Russian Events in the Light of Biblical Prophesy, p. 24, that "Our Lord's own Bible, the Septuagint, speaks of `Gog' as `the prince of Rosh.' If modern lexicographers are consulted as to what nation now represents `Rosh,' nearly all of them, together with most expositors, say, Russia.''

But there would be no need to bomb on Russian soil since presumably 'we' would has access to inspect, the cameras would be rolling etc. The only reason we didn't like the Iranian's enriching their own fuel was that without inspections we wouldn't know if they only enriched to ~3.5% or went all the way to ~90%. In Russia we'd know that.

The Iranian government has been fully complying with their obligations under the NPT (when, arguably, America has not). Why do you have a problem with that?

What i don't understand is why we tell people what they can and cannot build....

Iranians don't fight wars on two fronts while threatening other national powers. The idea of Iran having a nuclear bomb is scary - but so is america having one.

I think any middle east country with oil has a very good argument to build nuclear bombs.... They act as a deterrent to the west who may want to enforce a government that ensures oil to the americans is maintained at any cost.

Same goes for North Korea--they are threatened by both the Chinese and Japanese. All nations may have a right to arm themselves. The treaty to restrict biological warfare may be unfavourable to Iran also as Iraq used chemical weapons conistently in the border war that killed 500,000 on both sides.

Why should just Nato countries hold the Nukes? Surely we want everyone to have them, don't we? That way when the missiles begin to fly the damage will be more equal. Why should we be in a position to Nuke Iran and they not be in a position to fry London? North Korea should also be in a position to strike Tokyo and Peking to maintain their regime without the West trying to impose democratic style government on them. Who are we to say rule by Mullah is not what the ordinary people in IRan want?

Once the West eventually pulls out of Iraq we should make sure that whoever is left in charge also has Nukes to counterbalance Iran who has every right to them also. Syria can order some Nukes from their old Ally Russia and I am sure the US will oblige Egypt and Kuwait with some medium range nukes so that no one feels left out. Just to make sure America is kept out of it as we wouldn't want them interferring again like they did in 1941 when the first Eurpean country was about to go Nuke as they had every right to do. It was our interferrence with Hitler's nuke program in Norway that ruined Germany's prospects to arm themselves against the Americans. And it was America again who actually used a nuke on the Japanese who didn't really want to invade all those Asian countries for their resources. That was just a plot by the New World Order so that we could enjoy cheap Japanese cars and exploit the Japanese people.

Tick tock, tick tock

Yeah, and I don't understand either why everyone is so ruffled about a few little bombs.

Iran really is run by such nice fascists, why not let them turn the Middle East into a giant nature reserve (Chernobyl's wildlife is fantasic nowadays!), the planet is suffering from all this overpopulation anyway.

Ezekiel for world emperor!

Only one nation on Earth has ever used nuclear weapons. And they're the one now threatening to attack Iran because maybe they'll have nukes one day.

Why exactly should we be more scared of Iran than we are of a country which is attacking nations which pose no threat to it and has a proven history of using nukes?

Yes, and they started interferring in 1941 when our European neighbour was building Nukes to secure their freedom from American agression. There is no way that Hitler would have used the nukes like America did to take Japan out of the war. I would feel much safer with Moslem nations having Nukes because they haven't threatened to use them like the Americans have. IN any event, all those speeches about blowing Isreal off the map was just a Zionist plot to cover up the fact that the US Airforce was behind 9/11.
