Fear Today, Panic Tomorrow!

This website tried to tempt me into subscribing. Didnt need to, the first two lines says it all!

Most consumers expect the "housing bubble" to burst in the next year. Increasing interest rates, surging energy prices, and increasing housing inventories add credence to this outlook.

Can I also commend this link to: 'apologetic of South Cambridge'.

Does this signify a shift in sentiment? If 7 of ten thought the bubble would burst, how many now think there is a bubble in the first place?

First - optimism. Then - excitement, thrill, euphoria, anxiety, denial, fear, depression, panic, capitulation, desperation, hope, and then relief.

Which stage of the housing cycle are the people in this survey at?
