Veritas
http://go.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle.jhtml?...alog/GetContent The days when the house itself paid the costs associated with the move through increasing HPI might be coming to an end. What will poor Londoner's do when they have to pay £17k THEMSELVES. Another benefit of rampant HPI coming home to roost.

I find these figures shocking Alls I can say is when the house start their long way down I think EA's will start putting their fees up from 1-2% to 3-4% and will continue this HIGH COST of moving home. When will the citizens of this country wake up and smell the coffee??? TB
LivingTheDream-JustLikeLeedsUtd
Quote Londoners pay almost 17,000 pounds in fees and stamp duty to move from an average terraced property to a more expensive semi-detached house So, not actually the average cost of moving house, but the average cost of moving house to one that's in the 3% stamp duty band. It's not really news is it? Who gets paid to write this stuff?????
