Fixed Rate Bond Please!

Recommended Posts

Maybe a simple savings account with some like ICICI would be a better option? Bonds have taken a battering recently following rate raising, pension funds are also forced to dive in at silly levels.

Anyone here big on bonds?

Edit: doh! just took in "fixed rate", I thought you were going to run off and buy junk bonds or government stock from some far out country :)

I'm looking for a 12-month fixed-rate bond to stick some cash - as flex as poss need over 5% - any ideas?

Try National Savings and investments for various bonds which come close to what you are looking for - but do not match your exact requirements.

Their website is fairly good - well worth a look. Plus your money is much safer IMO than being in a bank. ;)
