The Builders Have Been Busy!

Recommended Posts

Came back from a london trip

and I can see the builders have been busy! 100s of flats - in immense blocks,

Some are near completion, some are on the way, and this was a small part of london i visited.

i have posted some pics in this new thread

http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/ind...0&gopid=349923&

from £279K sounds cheap - maybe they ll be worth £300K in a year.... erm...

Yeah.

It's not a bad cream sofa.

i can imagine myself coming back from the shower in a black tuxedo and handing the lady a lemon WKD.

they we can order a pizza with hot dippers before watching buzzcocks on the plasma.

she says in a sophisticated voice...

"fred...passus another dipper will yer. am starvin me. and get that history channel off. i wanna see th'news."

edit:

shakerbabys about to write how he would dip his mad mullah beard into her lap and ugga bugga all night long.

How funny I drove into London on Thursday and saw this block as well:

http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/ind...pe=post&id=3068

Very weird block of flats, and so many of them. As someoe who eventually wants to buy a flat in London, I seriously doubt even wanting to consider these.

There was a poll of the ugliest buildings in London.

Elephant and Castle was voted tops, and this "luxury" block of flats came in second.

Can anyone tell me how those blocks are so different to this one? [tahoma]

The former will need a tad more explosive to demolish.

My money is on all these 'executive' flats being full of DHSS within 10 years anyway. [tahoma]

I'd take that bet. The DHSS ceased to exist in 1988.

Changed to the DSS and now it's apparently called the Department of Work and Pensions. Given the recent bad news about unemployment and the ever imploding pensions crisis the name sounds positively Orwellian.
