Homebase sales down 5pc for Q2

Wednesday, April 12 16:06:07

(BizWorld)

GUS plc has reported worse-than-expected second quarter sales at its home base chain, blaming further weakening of the UK home improvement market.
For the five months to February 28 like-for-like sales at Homebase were down 5pc, compared to analysts' consensus expectations of a fall of 3.5pc and a third quarter decline of 3pc.

Not much confidence in house spending it seems.
