This Property Is An Absolute Snip !

Recommended Posts

I'm On stand-by tonight because of this, more houses have been condemned. in the area around that one

Need to be ready to help organise support to move people if need be.

looks pretty horrific when you see it. and to have suddenly gone with no reason.

The house did not crash, it was merely suffering a vertical seasonal adjustment due to the late Easter.

After this weekend, the house will go from strength to strength, and will be worth £45 squillion gazillion by 2009.

It is flying off the shelf.

It has just dawned on me why the present property bubble goes from strength to strength...

it is the `Fire Brigade` yes, yes, the `Fire Brigade`.

To quote from the BBC`s news article @ post 1

quote

"Fire crews were called at 0430 BST on Tuesday when a family found their front door had become jammed.

Within hours, two large cracks appeared in their house and the road, eventually causing the side of the property to cave in. "

unquote.

We can now sleep in peace when the crash comes. Simply call the Fire Brigade.

h.

I suspect there's a pretty good reason for it to collapse.

As always the clue was in the question....

collapse of the semi-detached house in Ridley Road, Bromley, near the track.

:P

Blimey, my brother lives less than half a mile from there, pretty sure an old colleague of mine lived in that road too .

I have just returned from the site,

Its a mess - the hole is about 2m deep and 6m wide

speaking to some of the engineers down there it seems to have been (they think) a sewer pipe that has developed a leak and eroded the chalk below the foundations,

looking into the hole you can clearly see the chalk

all the residents nearby have lost all services, temporary electric generator is running

but it looks like 7 houses are effected
