What happended at the turn of Oct/Nov to cause the stats to begin their stellar ascent and not look back? Any ideas? I cannot remember any more significant news at the time than what is normally published.. <_<

could it have been the onset of a concerted trolling campaign? Could this in itself have led to Webmaster receiving better terms for the sale of the site than would otherwise have been the case?

Could the trolling have made a significant contribution to raising the profile and reach of this site? We should be told! ;)

Strange that you should point that out..those Alexa figures, which refer to Saturday, were shite for just about all property related sites in the UK. Most Alexa browser users are in the US, did anything happen over there for a big switch off to happen? Are we getting a bit bored with property as a subject even? The biggest worry for me is that the big 2 or 3 simply mop up/provide all the useful content. Most users only stay 30 seconds or so on a site, that`s were ths place probably has a bit of an edge <_<

hey now there's something the career conspiracy theorists will like... maybe WM was actually the mastermind behind all the trolling and he orchestrated the whole thing for financial gain! :o:blink:;)

The trolling happened in Dec. 2005 if I`m not mistaken <_<
