We have been in rented the last year hoping for an HPC. After some wobbles in our area during 05 prices have rebounded with a bang in our area.

Too many people chasing too few properties.

Not just agents hype - one house in particular had been on the market for 6 months to December. In January two keen buyers turned up and a price war followed with sealed bids and it went for £25k more than the asking !! This is continuing with good properties going the same weekend they are put on the market. Another house in the road that we would like to live in wnet before it even reached the agents window.

I have to say I don't now see the HPC coming and we will be buying - whether we like it or not - my family needs a home and not the overpriced dump we have been renting for the last year - sorry !
