Hpc Under New Ownership

Recommended Posts

Fubra is really pleased to be taking on the support of www.housepricecrash.co.uk. Webmaster and the forum members/moderators have created one of the most important property price discussion sites and we want to keep it that way.

We have enjoyed visiting HPC as a key source for house price comment for a long time and learning from the experts about exactly what is going on on the ground. The depth and quality of discussion in the forum is impressive and we want to support and encourage this discussion. The property market needs to become more transparent and we want people to have greater access to useful data to make up their own minds about the property market.

HPC will continue to provide all the existing tools plus we would like to get feedback from members on how we could improve the site (new suggestions forum added). You are the property experts and we are the technology experts and together we would like to build more useful tools for analysing UK property prices.

Fubra is based in Aldershot, Hampshire and was founded in 2000. One of our websites is www.ourproperty.co.uk which provides sold house prices from Land Registry data. Paul Maunders (co-founder of Fubra and HPC forum member since August 2004 under the member name of paulm) encourages HPC members to suggest ideas on improvements to HPC. One improvement Paul is planning is to work with HPC members to build useful new tools to help analyse local property prices more accurately.

Comment from Webmaster:

"Thanks to everyone who has contributed to www.housepricecrash.co.uk since its inception in October 2003. The site has gone from strength to strength and has been a model success story for internet communities where the collective voice can really make a difference. The time has come to take the site to the next level and Fubra have kindly agreed to do this so I would encourage you all to give your feedback and ideas to them in order to make the site a truly indispensable tool. All the original website members are still here including myself so don't worry, there won't be any negative changes, just positive ones. Aswell as having an active community we now have the backing of internet experts. I'd encourage you all to pass on any suggestions and ideas to Fubra so that the site can be made even more useful for everyone"
