With the VIs saying HPI is rocketing can the B o E wait until the end of the year before hiking? Mervyn has sworn to kill the HPI dragon and the dragon is hotting the market up again (so the VIs say :lol: ).

Government bond prices in the US and Europe slumped on Friday and yields hit fresh multi-year highs after strong jobs data reinforced expectations that interest rates would continue to rise in the US.
