"Catastrophic? Not at all - I think a house price crash (say 30% by 2010 in real terms) is a good thing."

"certainly wouldn't harm most folks but that just isn't going to happen , the market has been stagnant for too long now with people holding back from buying in case of a fall , even a small fall in prices would be enough to move quite a lot of people who can't wait much longer and as such stop any further drop"
