Bankruptcy fee increase 'unaffordable'

Apr 5 2006
People on low incomes are facing an increase in bankruptcy fees this April.
Citizens Advice has warned that those on low incomes may not be able to afford to go bankrupt when the charge for declaring
rises from £390 to £450
.
The group claims that people living on benefits will not be able to afford the fee and is calling for an exemption from the charge for those on means-tested benefits.

Only in the UK :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

When people take up borrowing that they cannot afford they shold factor this into their borrowings!

Just take out an extra £450 on the mortgage when you apply, but be careful not to spend it.
