Here we have a colonel from the army, with a bunch of hippies turning a ruined house into an eco paradise, using interesting & inventive methods.

Far better than doing up a street for £700. Hmmm, I wonder what would happen to the price of houses in the area if everyone tried to sell at the same time.

no not joking! I think it covered a number of issues,but the one that struck a cord with me was the attraction of living the good life...long live ms kendal!! :)

Not at all sarcastic. It has loads of ideas in it and whatever you think about being 'green' one thing is certain and that is that it harms none. Very few pursuits you can say that about :)
