NEW YORK, April 3 (Reuters) - Spreads on U.S. interest rate swaps widened on Monday as Treasury yields rose on worries of rising global interest rates, analysts said.
Most swap spreads kicked off the second quarter 0.25 basis point to 0.75 basis point wider than late Friday.
Ten-year swap yields rose 3 basis points to 5.42 percent and two-year swap yields climbed 4 basis points to 5.31 percent.

watch out for any words uttered by Fed spokespersons over days ahead. the market has assumed a large shift in thinking on the Fed's part. if the Fed do nothing to negate that shift yields will rise further still.
