Looks like it's TTRTR in Sydney!

"We need more investors to buy more properties. A lot of the properties that were coming on to the market last spring were being bought by first-home buyers not investors so those properties were being taken out of the rental loop."

"Because it is such a bad time to rent or buy there seems to be more people in the rental market," she said.

Maybe he should have invested in Australia, where they really are going to raise the rents. There is no capacity to raise rents in the UK. Rents are so low in Australia that the only way is up.

yeah. the UK market is being disected by the double whammy of rising interest rates, and economic recession. The 1st one puts up landlords costs, the other reduces what they can charge in rent.

BADDDDD time to be a landlord.
