The chart on the page may be a useful tool. It could it be a good bullish / bearish divergence gauge and seems to correlate, roughly, with MOM HPI.

Does anyone have any idea why this data is so noisy/bursty? With such a huge sample size I would expect it to be a lot smoother.

Only if someone answers this for me:

Why is it you travel the SAME ROUTE for 5 days and one day it's clear and the next days it's MANIC????

You leave the same time, the same route. One Monday it's hectic the next Monday it's clear. So its not part-timers. One of lifes mysteries????
