New Build Discounts - More Inflated House Prices.

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Apologies if this has been mentioned before but I came accross this today.

It appears that if you take up a builders "offer", like £20k off the price, then you get cashback. So the house will be sold for the higher price, but you may get £20k back.

So yet more artificially inflated prices for Estate Agents to publish.

As I understand it, the full price will be shown on the Land Registry Figures. So yes, it is a way of cutting prices without the reduction showing in the figures.
