Nhs Doctors Having Their Letters Typed In India

Recommended Posts

Watching the BBC news (at 10 p.m. I think) and they showed a NHS doctor who dictates his letters in his UK office and then has the tape "sent" to India where it is copy typed and returned the next day. This is apparently a wide spread and growing trend in the NHS as they rid themselves of staff to support the miracle economy.

This is EXTREME offshoring and if it continues there are a lot of secretaries about to lose their jobs to Indians.

I doubt the VIs will be banging on about high employment undergirding further HPI for much longer. :o
